Privacy Policy — 7DayMission

This Privacy Policy explains how 7DayMission ("the App", "we", "us", "our") handles your information. By using the App you agree to this Policy.

1. Who we are

7DayMission is published by Enache Ionuț, an individual developer based in Romania. For any privacy-related question contact us at [email protected].

2. What we collect

The App is designed to keep your data on your device. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any personal identifier to use the App.

Subscription state	Whether you have an active Pro subscription	Managed by Apple StoreKit. We see only the entitlement status (free / pro), not your Apple ID or payment details.
App preferences	Language, intensity, briefing time, settings toggles	On-device (UserDefaults).

We do not collect: name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, device fingerprints, crash analytics, behavioural analytics.

3. CloudKit (iCloud) sync

If you are signed in to iCloud on your device, your mission and task data may sync across your own Apple devices via Apple CloudKit. The sync happens between your devices and your private iCloud database — we do not have access to it. Apple's privacy policy governs this sync: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.

You can stop syncing at any time by signing out of iCloud or disabling iCloud for 7DayMission in iOS Settings.

4. Third-party AI processing (OpenAI)

When you use AI features ("Brief by Voice", AI-generated drill sergeant messages, AI-generated deadline notifications, Sunday Debrief), the App sends short text payloads to OpenAI's Chat Completions API to generate a response.

The payload contains the text of your brief, the task title, your selected language, and a few stats (e.g. completion percent, streak). It does not contain your name, email, IP-based identity, or any direct identifier.
Requests are routed through a Cloudflare Worker proxy we operate. The proxy forwards your request to OpenAI 1:1 and forwards OpenAI's response back to you. We do not log request bodies.
OpenAI processes the data per its own privacy and data-use policies: https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy/. OpenAI states that data submitted via the API is not used to train their models by default.

If you do not want any data sent to OpenAI, simply do not use the AI features. All non-AI features (manual task entry, local notifications with default text, etc.) work entirely on-device.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Subscriptions are sold through Apple's App Store and are charged to your Apple ID. We do not receive your name, email, address, or payment information. We only receive an entitlement signal from Apple ("user has an active Pro subscription"). Apple's privacy policy applies to your purchase data: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
